Zoee Silcock

Hello, I'm a 28 year old guy living in Stockholm. I am currently in the trainee program at Chas Visual Management AB. Before that I studied object oriented programming focused on Java at Jensen Education. I have been coding since long before that course though. It started many years ago with C on the Mac OS (called System 7 back then). I have also done a rather large project using PHP, MySQL, XHTML and Smarty. Before I started this course I also did some LUA coding in my spare time. These days I mainly code in Java or C#. This page is built with Ruby on rails which I only recently taught myself.

I built this place to show some of the things I have created. I'm very much into programming and love the general process of coding and learning new languages and techniques. I hope to give you an idea of how I actually work by showing you some projects I have worked on.

When I'm not programming on my spare time I also enjoy keeping up with the latest tech and science news. Obviously I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I practise Yoga daily and meditation as often as possible, I find these practices help me both mentally and physically. I've even been known to play video games but coding takes up most of my free time.

Music is another of my passions, I play some guitar on my spare time, it helps my patience and finger dexterity. My favourite bands of all time include Bob Dylan, Tool and Pink Floyd. This gives a hint of how broad my music taste is. I enjoy lots of types of music, but some bands that I find work very well with programming are Boards of Canada and Explosions in the Sky.
